Swimmer still missing.
Local first responders, with aid from the U.S. Coast Guard and New Jersey State Police are still searching for a missing swimmer. The situation is ongoing and the search remains active, per Police Lt. Dan Lancaster.
The Ocean City Police Department, Ocean City Fire Department, with support from the New Jersey State Police and U.S. Coast Guard have continued searching for a missing swimmer first reported shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday.
According to officials, as of 10 p.m. Monday, the swimmer has still not been found. The search remains active.
