This Tuesday, Ocean City decides what comes next.
Before that happens, I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for the conversations on front porches, on the boardwalk, over donuts, at basketball games, and everywhere in between. Thank you for caring enough about this town to stay engaged, ask hard questions, and expect accountability from the people asking for your vote.
Because at the end of the day, that is what this election is really about. Trust.
This election is not about one issue or one person. It is about whether the people of Ocean City trust that their local government is listening, communicating honestly, and making decisions with the future of this community in mind.

I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve on the school board. I am grateful for my time on city council. And I am honored to have had the chance to run for mayor of Ocean City.
Wayne Gretzky once said that he skated to where the puck was going, not where it had been. I think there is wisdom in that for Ocean City, too.
We should always respect the people who built this community and made Ocean City what it is today. But leadership is not about protecting the status quo just because it feels familiar. It is about understanding where our community is headed and making sure we are prepared for the future.
Because the challenges facing Ocean City today are different than they were twenty years ago, or even four years ago. Ocean City deserves leadership that plans ahead, communicates honestly, and takes seriously the responsibility of managing taxpayer dollars.
Young familiar are struggling to stay here. Small businesses are fighting rising costs. Seniors are facing higher costs on fixed incomes. Residents want communication, accountability, and leadership they can trust. And more people are beginning to worry that if we stop planning for the future, we risk losing part of what has always made Ocean City special.

This campaign has never been about politics for the sake of politics. It has been about earning trust, being transparent, and making sure residents feel heard again.
If the people of Ocean City trust me to serve as mayor, I will never forget who I work for.
I will show up. I will listen. I will tell people the truth, even when it is difficult. And I will work every day to earn the trust this job requires.
No matter what happens on Election Day, I will always be grateful to this community and the people who make it special.
Ocean City has given so much to all of us. Election Day is our chance to decide what we give back.
And when you walk into that voting booth and the curtain closes, it becomes a quiet moment between you, your conscience, and the future you want for Ocean City.
This election is bigger than personalities, politics, or any single issue. It is about who you can trust to listen, tell you the truth, and lead this community forward with honestly and accountability.
If you are still undecided, I simply ask for your trust and the opportunity to keep serving the community we all love.
And no matter what decision you make, I will be grateful that you showed up for Ocean City.
