BREAKING: Fire Rips Through OCNJ Home around 11PM on 8/8/25.
The Ocean City Fire Department quickly extinguished a structure fire at 104 Atlantic Avenue, reported just before 11:00 PM last night. After arriving on scene, the incident commander declared a “working fire” on scene, leading to a department recall for off-duty firefighters and mutual aid.
Additional aid was provided by the Marmora Volunteer Fire Company, Strathmere Volunteer Fire Company, Somers Point Volunteer Fire Company, and Upper Township Rescue.

This was a 2nd alarm fire. Multiple agencies involved.
There are no reported injuries. Fire extinguished.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
