Ocean City, N.J. - Aviation enthusiasts have a busy weekend ahead in America’s Greatest Family Resort, with the Ocean City Airport Festival scheduled for Saturday and the Annual Boardwalk Airshow scheduled for Sunday.


The Ocean City Airport Festival takes place on Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at 26th St. and Bay Avenue. The festival will feature food vendors, music, ground displays of aircrafts, and more. The event is free to attend. At noon, Team Fastrax will skydive over the airport and then a half-mile walk open to all.


On Saturday evening, the Parachute Pyrotechnic Show will ignite 6,000 feet in the air, with members of Team Fastrax parachuters fly in formation and land on the beach at seventh street. The show can be viewed from the boardwalk.

On Sunday, the Boardwalk Aerobatic Air Show will start at 1:00 pm. The show will include Team Fastrax, The Jersey Jerks, Dougherty Air Shows, and more. The city is anticipating several thousand attendees for the airshow, with best viewing available between 5th-14th streets.
