Ocean City, NJ, is preparing for a large regional snowstorm expected to move into the area within the next 12-16 hours. Forecasters say the incoming system could rank among the most severe winter weather events in years.

Atlantic County and Cape May County may see 3 to 6 inches of snowfall, with heavier accumulations of 6 to 12 inches expected across inland portions of the region.

The State of New Jersey has declared a State of Emergency due to the anticipated snow storm. Please remember to check on neighbors, exercise caution if you must travel, and be prepared in the event of a power outage.
