On Thursday, December 4th, City Council voted 4-3, moving forward with asking the Planning Board for their recommendation regarding placing the “In Need of Rehabilitation” designation on Wonderland Pier.
The Planning Board will now review the site, and if the rehabilitation designation is approved, developers like ICONA will be able to propose projects.
Hundreds of Residents Attended..
During the meeting, opponents and supporters of the ICONA project alternated between applauding, booing, reacting verbally to each speaker during public comment.
