On Thursday, December 9th, employee’s of the 9th Street McDonald’s were reportedly notified that the store would be permanently closing on Sunday, December 14th. The announcement has left the fate of the high-traffic site unclear, with no details yet on what may replace the golden arches.
McDonald’s Manager Linda Romain wrote in a Facebook post that workers received no advance notice before being told on Tuesday, just days before closing.
