On Wednesday, January 7th, the Ocean City, NJ Planning Board voted 4-4, stalling a recommendation regarding the rehabilitation designation for the Wonderland Pier property. This was the second critical procedural hurdle for ICONA’s proposed 252-room resort.
During the meeting, ICONA Developer Eustace Mita spoke during public comment. During the meeting, he stated that his business lost $500,000 operating small business (ex: pizza shop) at 600 Boardwalk.
