ICONA Resorts has officially launched their new online petition, where supporters of their plan for a 252 room mega-hotel in OCNJ can sign in support.

The online petition has already surpassed 2,300 signatures, and is actively being promoted by ICONA. ICONA is not looking for donations or any financial support from the community, simply support for the project. You can click here to view the e-petition.

At the time of publishing, ICONA Developer Eustace Mita has yet to formally introduce his plans, which would likely include a zoning change. He’s expected to formally submit his proposal in the coming weeks.

According to Mita, the total cost of the project could fall between $135M-$155M, and take 24+ months. The plan also includes spending millions to preserve iconic amusement rides like the Ferris Wheel.
